Seems baked in that Meta wins agentic commerce over OpenAI - larger installed base. 3B monthly actives for Meta versus just 800M for OpenAI. Many of those 3B have CC info on platform, not true for OpenAI - Deeper penetration. Time spent on Meta platforms is much larger than ChatGPT And most importantly - Meta benefits from visual GenAI-driven commerce within existing properties. OpenAI has no penetration in visual social. Eg, image you’re on IG, you see a product in an app, and you click to buy. GenAI enables this for *anything you can see* in the IG feed, of which Meta will charge a fee per conversion.
