Realized gains this year: $210,062. $92,119 of that came from options. Living in California means I’ll owe roughly $108,027 in taxes. That’s over half of what I earned…gone. Absolutely disgusting. The IRS is robbing us of our hard earned cash… Sad.

I will be selling all my rental properties next year and I can’t wait. Having rental properties has been a huge learning lesson, but my goal is to simplify life and real estate does the complete opposite of that for me. I’m ecstatic.
