@sofiagarcia_io put words to a feeling I’ve had as a collector/curator 👇🏾 Similar to the contemporary art world, Web3 art is tracing a path from simple to complex. Elemental marks to ever-richer constructs. Marks → algorithms → systems/worlds→ ??? 👉🏾Early phase: elemental gestures (Autoglyphs). Code as line. 👉🏾Next: self-contained algorithms (long-form gen art). Code as studio. 👉🏾Now: living systems. Code as world. Recent works that embody this shift: 🤌🏾@TaborRobak, Tabcorp Labs 🤌🏾@hahajohnx, Dungeoneer 🤌🏾@mitchellfchan, Overture Rule-sets that perform. As a collector, ownership is co-authoring a runtime. Where interaction is interpretation and state changes are part of the provenance. Whenever I trace a trend, I hunt for the seed. The first thing that carried the DNA of everything that followed. While building this thesis, one collection kept coming to mind. It landed years early, still feels futuristic today, and stands as the blockchain native, prototype for all these system/world hybrids... Any guesses???

I grew up in a house full of women, was raised by a single mother and have always felt more comfortable around feminine energy. The crypto life is really intense. Travelling the world, no sleep, away from home. The women in this space, to me, have always been a sense of belonging and home. And as I sit here and reflect on @3e_labs and it's early days, I notice one consistency: The people who saw me, the people who cared about my vision... it wasn't your average incel on CT. @nonfungiblek was the first one to bet on me, @ekang426 gave me one of the largest opportunities, @Julessw_ pushed my passion to new heights, @emilyxlai has been the person I reach out to when I don't know where to look, @ldf_gm has been my biggest champion, @cherdougie wrote my first article. The list goes on. My point: do not underestimate the fucking power of women in web3. Cultural builders will win, and these ladies are the mecca of culture. And I plan on building the most diverse team/community in crypto.
