Just finished Neal's book and it is outstanding. Modern Chains: The Invisible Shackles of Economic Slavery. What i love most about this book is that it is really about philosophy, and morality and how these topics intersect with sound money. Neal, West Pt. Grad, Iraq Vet, Helicopter pilot and super ethical man digs deep into how far astray we have gone from the principles of Aristotle and The Bible. Excellent comparison of slavery with our current economic system and how the Keynesians have become "house slaves". Willing to sell their souls for a better seat near the master's table. The rest of us field slaves want to and need to revolt! The book is really a philosophical and moral analysis of sound money and why it is so important. My favorite line: "The fight for a just monetary order is not merely a technical or political struggle; it is a moral imperative, a battle for the soul of our society" I want this man in my foxhole.
