A big reason why stocks are up only forever is because the indexes are bought with 401k and IRA funds, which represents a yearly part of US GDP Basically it’s like the US stock market is a utility asset where a percent of total revenue (GDP) is constantly used to buyback and lock supply If it becomes the standard for BTC & ETH etc to be some percent of institutional portfolios, 401Ks and IRAs, then crypto markets will be locked in to look the same, with a % of US GDP constantly buying. Sure there will be volatility and market crashes just like stocks, but long term denominator is worthless, up only forever
