Met some nice folks at a restaurant in NYC tonight. They work in finance and when I asked if they invest in Bitcoin they said, “No.”
“Why not?” I asked.
Responses:
“It’s a Ponzi scheme.”
“It’s not a company with cash flows and products.”
“My $NVDA outperformed Bitcoin.”
“It’s too volatile to be a currency.”
“It uses too much energy.” *They capitulated on this one when I asked if they’re okay with AI energy use.
“Who created it? Nobody even knows. What if Satoshi were to come back.”
“You can’t do anything with a Bitcoin.”
“I’m too late.”
Sigh.

So far, I’ve been incredibly accurate in the predictions I made in my 2024 book, Bitcoin Supercycle. I said if Donald Trump was elected that we would reach a new all-time high in early November (it passed the previous cycle’s high of $73,500 on November 5th).
I also said that every initial all-time high for a new cycle kicks off a roughly year long period I call Bitcoin Summer, which is charactetized by rapid increases in price, ending with a blow-off top in the fourth quarter of the year after the halving.
So far, we are up nearly $50,000 since last November with less than six months to go for a blow-off top to pop the bubble (leading to a year of corrections and eventual capitulation at a price that’s not only far below the bubble top, but likely below today’s price).
I predicted at a conference in Cannes last week (when Bitcoin was still “stuck” around $108k) that the path the $200k would look something like this (remember these are monthly averages, meaning we could still have one red month if we exceed my estimate too much in a green month):
Here goes:
July +10 pct (end of month price $119k)
Aug +10 pct (end of month price $130k)
Sept +10 pct (end of month price $144k)
Oct +20 pct (end of month price $172k)
Nov +20 pct (end of month price $207k)
At the moment, we are ahead of schedule…

$400k is the high end of my projections (and only if Bitcoin treasuries go nuts and/or governments start buying with fresh fiat)

ROADMAP TO $400K PER BITCOIN BY END OF THE YEAR:
1️⃣ every genius trader on CT “shorts resistance” with stops at 112k
2️⃣ one of the treasury companies sneezes and accidentally hits the buy button, liquidating literally every idiot on this app
3️⃣ CT watches in horror realizing there’s nothing but air above $115k, bitcoin regularly printing 10k daily candles and they’re utterly sidelined
4️⃣ everyone thought it would take 4 years to hit $200k but it actually took 4 weeks, NOW the entire world wakes up, “wait you’re telling me this ponzi added $2 trillion in a MONTH?!?!”
5️⃣ literal global fomo ensues, every institution and every rich person in the world wakes up in cold sweat “what if it doubles AGAIN”
6️⃣ $400k by end of year is a conservative target, thanks for coming to my ted talk
