I just received news from a Portfolio Founder inviting me to ring the bell for an IPO in New York. Another First Check turning into an IPO, I'm very happy. Congratulations to them! In fact, they have been on this path for 5 years, and I am grateful for the team's day and night efforts. Wishing them success on their listing on August 7! Suddenly, I remember that it has been over ten years since I participated in the Bitcoin Group IPO as a newcomer. If it had succeeded back then, it would have been the world's first IPO of a Bitcoin company, the ancestor of all coin-stock linked companies. Unfortunately, the team was still too young at that time, and the industry was too young as well. It's a pity there are no 'what ifs' 😌 I am very grateful for this experience, which introduced me to Bitcoin, demystified the work in investment banking for me, and inspired my entrepreneurial spirit.
