People say to "love the process"... The truth is: Sometimes “the process” sucks. It’s boring, hard, draining or a slog. That’s fine. It is what it is. Don't worry if you don't "love the process" - just do what you have to do. Get to the better stuff ahead.

If you are someone who likes to make progress, and very ambitious... Being actively held back in any way will make you very, very grumpy.

A fun country phrase to use in many areas of life: That someone is “All Hat, No Cattle.” A person who talks big or acts like they're important, but doesn't actually have the experience, power, or substance to back it up.

Personal liberation begins the moment you recognize that society's "impossible" is simply an opinion you don't have to adopt.

“F*ck Your Feelings” is a gross misunderstanding of achievement. Sounds cool though. Changing a STATE > Changing a behavior. People who say this are often living in a perpetually winning state. They’re motivated. They’re ambitious. They’re confident. Occasionally they don’t feel like doing shit, but they do it anyway, and then caption a photo #f*ckyourfeelings… And then you feel bad because you keep trying to change your behavior and fail over and over again. Change your state. Change your story. Change your life.
