I have been trying to acquire @Lighter_xyz points but there's barely size sellers to begin with. Approached many early users with size but they are declined to sell.
I hope there's better transparency on OTC markets for price discovery. My personal view is Lighter points is way higher than what OTC prices are pricing now.

BTW I was very supportive of this approach to tax HFT traders more for benefitting from retail flows. Why should retail pay for flows when MMs are extracting more value?
We don't need many MMs to compete on order flows. We just need a few MMs who are willing to pay the most for order flow.

I have been running a market making bot on another new perp DEX to farm points. So far, it’s generated about 87,602,205 USD in trading volume, with 35,098 USD spent on fees at a 0.04% maker fee rate
Even with their Market Maker Rebate Program reducing the fee rate to around 0.02%, the actual fees would still be about $17,520
On @Lighter_xyz, with just a 0.002% maker fee, the same $87,561,072 in volume would cost only about $1,751 in fees
That’s a massive cost savings! All while still earning Lighter points 🕯️
