There is absolutely no such thing as free money, not even in crypto. There is ALWAYS, at the very least, an opportunity cost. What does this mean? It means if I have 1 hour of my day that I can allocate to something, I have to forgo allocating it to something else. It means if I have $10 that I can get 5% annual yield on starting TODAY, I can't also at the same time allocate that $10 to something else that has a variable or uncertain return rate that is implied at some point in the future.
