Looks like others are thinking along similar lines - absolutely worth the read. Jack’s post filled in some of the back story and gave me a few additional ideas things to consider. My own framing puts BitBonds at the center of a sovereign monetary flywheel: 1.Stablecoin demand spreads the dollar globally at the micro level and lubricates digital rails during bull markets. The administration can manage the short end (Tether is already a top-15 U.S. debt holder). 2.Bitcoin reserves strengthen the sovereign balance sheet. As BTC appreciates, national credit metrics improve. 3.BitBonds enable the government to refinance long-duration debt and fund infrastructure - or even subsidize sectors like housing with low-cost capital. The kicker: Since BitBonds are denominated in dollars, all BTC upside (via volatility harvesting) is effectively printed. The Bitcoin accumulates in sovereign reserves. While inflationary in theory, the rising reserve value begins to artificially back the dollar and stabilize its purchasing power.
