NEW: 22 year old college student suddenly vanishes along the Mississippi River in La Crosse, Wisconsin after leaving a bar. Eliotte Heinz was last seen on surveillance camera on Sunday morning while heading back to her apartment. Law enforcement and Heinz’s family are desperately searching the area along the banks of the Mississippi River. “She needs to be back home with us. That's where she was trying to go and we need her to be able to complete that,” her mother pleaded. “We love you, we miss you, and we’re doing everything we can to get you back to us.” According to police, Heinz was “last seen walking southbound on the 500 Block of Front Street South at approximately 3:22 a.m. on July 20th, 2025. Her family, friends and police have made several attempts to locate her with no success.”

NEW: Bus driver nearly decapitates passengers after crashing into a low bridge and ripping off the top of the bus in the UK. The driver has since been arrested on suspicion of “causing serious injury by careless driving.” 20 people were injured with a few sustaining serious injuries to their heads. This was the second time that a bus got its top ripped off at this location. A 19-year-old woman, a man in his 20s and another man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and are still in the hospital.
