Short activity has been nonexistent- this was they key for the exploiter to run the reentrancy attack and massively inflate short OI relative to baseline, while relying on an averageShortPrice that was much lower than market price due to low trading activity and old positions. Anyway, besides the classic reentrancy protections, the incident of today is a good reminder for smart contract engineers to reconsider daily caps on flows and opt for withdrawal queues for vaults that are meant to be long term investments like we did at Ostium.
