Started loving nyc more once I accepted it’s not built for convenience. No dishwasher, no laundry, 4-floor walkup, sirens all night - obvs living somewhere noisy? Thats ok. You trade comfort for crazy access to events/people, surprise convos and cliche but the energy is real.

Yes. Writing is not a second thing that happens after thinking. The act of writing is an act of thinking. Writing *is* thinking. Students, academics, and anyone else who outsources their writing to LLMs will find their screens full of words and their minds emptied of thought.

In past few months, the reaction I get when I say I work in crypto has changed so much. People used to respond w a weird look and perhaps ask about about a memecoin or recent headline - now i feel there is genuine curiosity + awareness. The convo’s evolving.
