12 months ago, we came up with a plan, and we were relentless in sticking to it. 1. Make Arena an awesome game that can compete with mainstream autobattlers. 2. Redesign Overworld and morph it into an MMO with huge replayability. 3. Crank up marketing and bring players back. The plan is working, and people are starting to notice. Let the games begin.

After a long time, I played @illuviumio Arena again... I have to say, not bad, not bad at all. I was genuinely surprised to see my holos show up, the ones I’d collected or bought previously. Such a nice feeling. It's the first time I’ve truly felt ownership in a game that uses web3 tech. Very nice! Also the menu looks fantastic. Not as cheap as before.

There is a massive vibe shift happening right now around @illuviumio Arena (Gauntlet) has never felt so good to play, genuinely feels like a stand alone competitor to TFT now and each update the devs ship adds so more depth and QOL to the experience 🔥

This is maybe the first time in the history of Illuvium that we are actively seeing players return to try the game again, and marketing hasn't really begun. This just shows that the game has finally reached the place with the level of retention and stickiness it needs to begin marketing. It is ready, and this new wave of organic players is proof of that! Exciting times for @illuviumio.

It's awesome to see a CEO actually playing their own game. On top of that, @KieranWarwick jumped into a high ranked match of @illuviumio with a brand new build he created himself, one I hadn't seen before, and placed well with it. It looked so good I had to try it.

If you think for a second we aren't going to run this thing back, you have no idea of the person I am. For 12 months now, I have taken every single piece of criticism and not bitten back. Bet against us. I dare you. Inevitably assumes it's a given. This is not that.

What an event. Seeing people use their own characters takes it to the next level. But I think the most important takeaway for me was that even if you didn't have the BEST Illuvials, you could still compete. I have some ideas for the leviathan league ill work on this weekend.
