with blockspace increasing 20% a few days ago Solana has already hit an ATH in weekly number of transactions as well as sustained average TPS oh yeah and we're already working on doubling capacity again

Surprises me that Charlie Munger never came around crypto. He writes about the importance of creating human systems that are hard to cheat (see below). That’s precisely what blockchain systems are - economic systems that are transparent, verifiable and operated by simple rules that make it very hard to cheat. Blockchain systems assume every participant will act in their own self interest and will cheat if given the opportunity, and work backwards to create incentives and codified, immutable primitives that prevent and mitigate this behavior. People on the internet love to speak in extremes, but one of the biggest 🚩 to me is when someone constantly makes grandiose claims. A marketing faux pas that sounds good in the moment but when compounded over time and never delivered on properly (which is almost always the case) just erodes trust and legitimacy for anyone who matters. “We’ll be the best in the world.” “HUGE NEWS COMING” “The timeline won’t survive this one.” “Nobody can do this better than us.” “The game is about to change forever.” “We’re about to disrupt an entire industry.” Point being: there’s a fine line between confident messaging (important!) and unrealistic arrogance. When you lean too far into the hype, the final product almost always feels like a letdown because nothing can live up to the expectation you created. It might still work on people who fall for hype lol but anyone with even a little skepticism or objectivity can see right through it from day 1.
