Proud for @1kxnetwork to lead the @ocapgames round for them to build the next major crypto IP powerhouse with @vibes_tcg + @moonbirds ~ We continue to believe that the world's biggest IP to emerge over the next decade will have their roots in crypto, and believe that onchain primitives will enable new forms of IP to flourish in ways never seen before. We believe it is still incredibly early in this design space, and that very few operators have been capable of cracking the code on this category. We believe that @ocapgames has that potential. From anchoring @spencer's last fund via @venturespencer to now leading the latest round, we've been proud serial backers of all his ventures, and are incredibly honored to continue to work together in all aspects.

Excited to be backing @KaiaChain in this round of funding. They're the official blockchain natively integrated by @LINEjp_official and @kakaoteam, the two biggest consumer messaging apps across Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand - totalling over 200m MAUs. Since launching they've generated 38 million net new wallets, onboarded over 80+ miniapps averaging over 1m-1.5m+ daily active onchain addresses, which is over 8x higher than TON (100-150k). We believe Kaia is a dark horse in the race for mass adoption. Proud for @1kxnetwork to be a supporter.

Proud for @1kxnetwork to co-lead the Series A for @campnetworkxyz to build the world's most comprehensive programmable IP registry. Initially starting out as a consumer product team, they saw a major opportunity to build a blockchain that treats IP as a first-class onchain primitive, opening new design space for possible apps. Camp is loved by the teams they work closely with and has been able to win over hearts and minds amongst founders with incredibly hands-on operational support and real authentic care for the success of who they work with. This is in stark contrast to the standard L1 token grants factory process which usually results in highly mercenary application ecosystems that don't long term retain. Many founders have decided to partner with Camp over Story Protocol and many other incumbent L1s precisely for this reason, against whom they've already been incredibly competitive. We are honored to announce that 1kx has co-led a $25m seed round for @0xMiden, a next-generation edge blockchain. At @1kxnetwork, we view blockchains as application platforms. They should not only serve as the foundational infrastructure for decentralized applications, but also foster and provide network effects for the benefit of all platform participants. Yet, blockchains today have limited network effects due to a couple of critical issues: fragmentation resulting from horizontal scaling, vertical scaling bottlenecks due to a single composable blockspace, and lack of privacy and confidentiality. We believe that next-generation blockchain systems will need to be envisioned from the ground up to solve all the above issues. Miden, the edge blockchain, is an example of a system: it can scale horizontally while preserving interoperability and network effects; individual applications can scale without predefined limits while keeping state private yet auditable. The edge blockchain paradigm is crucially enabled by zero-knowledge proofs--a technology that the Miden team has been a key early pioneer of. When @bobbinth first approached us about Miden’s spin-out from Polygon, we were immediately thrilled about the opportunity to partner and support the effort. This is in part because of Bobbin’s track record of technical contributions to zero-knowledge systems but also more importantly because of how deeply the Miden mission aligns with our thesis. We are extremely honored to partner and support @bobbinth, @schmiddominik1, @azeemk_, and the rest of the Miden team on their journey to redefine the capabilities and limits of blockchains.
