Geb is the ancient Egyptian god of the Earth, responsible for fertility, agriculture, and the animals that inhabit the land. Depicted as a man with a goose on his head, Geb is the son of the sky goddess Nut and the air god Shu, and the brother and husband of Nut. Geb’s laughter was believed to cause earthquakes, symbolizing his powerful and sometimes unpredictable nature.
