As a legal immigrant in the United States who has gone through the proper processes, and as a compliant tech worker just getting by, I completely fail to understand why American leftists would abandon their three children to defend illegal immigrants from Somalia, resolutely sacrificing their own lives for them. The brilliance of their noble sentiments almost makes me want to squeeze out the "little" hidden beneath my down jacket.
