In January 2024 I put out the cynic's guide to markets. $SPX was trading just below 4800 and in the article I had outlined all my reasons for its conclusion: "The cynic’s guide to markets strongly suggests that volatility will again get restrained and corrections will again get bought and big new highs will come in 2025". This has been our trading bible in the last 2 years and I submit, irrespective of how the market closes into year end, this script has indeed played again for this 5th year of the 10 year cycle.
