أجريت محادثةً مع ملك الأردن عبد الله الثاني بن الحسين ومع الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي. وإنّنا نتشارك القناعة ذاتها المتمثلة فيما يلي: لن يفضي الهجوم العسكري الذي تُعِدّ له إسرائيل في قطاع غزة إلا إلى كارثة حقيقية لكلا الشعبين وسيجرّ المنطقة إلى حرب دائمة. ونرى أن السبيل الوحيد لإنهاء هذه الحرب يتمثل فيما يلي: - تحقيق وقف إطلاق نار دائم في قطاع غزّة. - الإفراج عن جميع الرهائن. - إيصال المساعدات الإنسانية إلى سكان قطاع غزّة بكثافة. - نزع سلاح حركة حماس وتعزيز دور السلطة الفلسطينية في قطاع غزّة. وتطلب منا تحقيق ذلك مع مصر والأردن وجميع شركائنا الإقليميين والدوليين القيام بما يلي: - نشر بعثة دولية من أجل إرساء الاستقرار في قطاع غزة. - العمل على بلورة حلّ سياسي يلبي تطلعات الشعبين الإسرائيلي والفلسطيني على حدٍ سواء. وستتشارك فرنسا مع المملكة العربية السعودية في رئاسة المؤتمر الدولي بشأن تنفيذ حل الدولتين الذي سيُعقد في أيلول/سبتمبر في نيويورك، سعيًا إلى إحراز تقدمٍ في هذا الصدد. ويمثّل حل الدولتين السبيل الوحيد الموثوق من أجل أُسر الرهائن ومن أجل الإسرائيليين والفلسطينيين. لا للحرب. نعم للسلام والأمن للجميع.

I have just spoken with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt. We share the same conviction: The military offensive in Gaza that Israel is preparing can only lead to disaster for both peoples and risks plunging the entire region into a cycle of permanent war. We believe that only the following course of action can bring this conflict to an end: → The establishment of a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. → The release of all hostages. → The large-scale delivery of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza. → The disarmament of Hamas and the strengthening of the Palestinian Authority in Gaza. To achieve this, together with Egypt, Jordan, and all our regional and international partners, we must: → Deploy an international stabilization mission for Gaza. → Work towards a political solution that fulfills the aspirations of both peoples, Israeli and Palestinian. France will co-chair, alongside Saudi Arabia, the Conference on the two-state solution in New York this September in order to advance along this path. This is the only credible way forward—for the families of the hostages, for Israelis, and for Palestinians alike. No to war. Yes to peace and security for all.

Je viens de m’entretenir avec le Roi de Jordanie Abdallah II puis avec le Président égyptien Sissi. Nous partageons la même conviction : L’offensive militaire sur Gaza que prépare Israël ne peut conduire qu’à un véritable désastre pour les deux peuples et entrainera la région dans une guerre permanente. Nous pensons que seul le processus suivant peut mettre fin à cette guerre : → Mise en place d’un cessez-le-feu permanent à Gaza. → Libération de tous les otages. → Acheminement massif d’aide humanitaire aux Gazaouis. → Désarmement du Hamas et renforcement de l’Autorité palestinienne à Gaza. Pour y parvenir, avec l’Égypte, la Jordanie et tous nos partenaires régionaux et internationaux, il nous faudra : → Mettre en œuvre une mission de stabilisation internationale pour Gaza. → Travailler à une solution politique qui réponde aux aspirations des deux peuples, israélien comme palestinien. La France co-présidera la conférence sur la solution à deux États avec l’Arabie saoudite en septembre à New-York pour avancer sur ce chemin. C’est la seule voie crédible pour les familles des otages, pour les Israéliens et pour les Palestiniens. Non à la guerre, oui à la paix et à la sécurité pour tous.
