This week we hosted the first Monetarium Dialog, featuring Peter Thiel, who shared many perspectives on the US dollar. I challenged participants to state plans for budget reform that were politically feasible and we discussed storing value in the event of a dollar crisis.

In 1999, Peter Thiel, PayPal co-founder, envisioned a new currency. PayPal fell short of this full vision. Now, as an early investor in @ReserveProtocol (along with @coinbase, Sam Altman, and early advisor Paul Atkins), this vision is taking shape.

At M2 @RominaBoccia did a fantastic job walking through the situation with the US debt and deficit, the politics around it, and the kinds of proposals that are out there for how to address it. I highly recommend checking out her talk – it's the perfect background material for understanding the fight over the BBB that's raging today!

If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day. Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE.

Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame! And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth.
