also a little update on the team side, we have some really talented team members who joined and are joining over the last few months and next few months. some of these people are strong solana builders whom i have been admiring from the day we started building on solana. they will be great addition to our current amazing team! will let them share it when the time is right for them.

Why decentralization? Because complete centralization means the death of freedom and choice. The current systems concentrate and bias power into the hands of the few, allowing them to radically restructure society, and even our own lives in subtle ways. The internet was able to disrupt the top-down control that news centralization played across the 20th century. Anyone who subscribed to beliefs propagated outside of the mainstream networks were seen as ‘fringe’ or ‘heretical’. And although now we face a new set of consequences brought about by media decentralization, less conventional ideas have the ability to influence the culture based on their merits. In a similar manner, crypto is the financial analogue of this situation. It is the other key tool, alongside of information decentralization, which can equalize the power structures of the world — returning freedom and autonomy to the participants within the system. What we need most during this new era are real leaders to emerge; people who aren’t afraid to be at the forefront of change. Once we forego our petty divisions, and find the commonalities around which we can align and function asynchronously, we create for ourselves a ripe landscape to transform the planet and social environment in ways which we never could have imagined before. Just as the power conglomerates were able to radically shape the image of society in the past, so too can we. But this time, we will do it together.
