With the year nearing a close, it's important to understand your portfolio's performance. Easiest way to do this is to observe the delta, and remove personal expenses and income, then compare your result to each the benchmark of each sector. One year's data set will not tell a meaningful story, but if you keep doing it over many years you'll get a clear understanding of your relative performance. Plot twist: it's most likely really bad and you should just buy the benchmark.
