This may sound counter-intuitive but a relatively muted response to upgrades like Fusaka is the signal of a maturing ecosystem. Infrastructure, as fancy theorists suggest, should recede into the background. It should go unnoticed. The ecosystem gaze should be turning elsewhere (apps, use cases, primitives).
In an ideal world, the average Ethereum user should barely even know what a blockchain is. Certainly the should not be overly thinking about how long slots are or what the role of builders and proposers are. The should be the preserve of specialists or hardcore hobbyists.
