The IEA isn't even trying any more. The CPS scenario is just silly. EVs stop growing outside China and Europe. Solar growth is (once again) pretty much flat through 2050. This is not a serious assessment. @skdh

IEA CPS sees EV market share in the US stuck at 11% and in India at ~3%. During a period where EVs will become 30%+ cheaper than combustion vehicles in purchase price, and more in cost/mile. Implausible.

IEA's STEPS scenario is also laughably bad. - EV sales CAGR of 9% over the next decade. - Solar net new annual deployments don't grow *at all* from 2025. (Any increased scale is used for repowering.) What? Total failure to learn from the past. Fire them all. @AukeHoekstra
