As someone who just went from a 2008 3 Series to a 2025 X4, the tech jump is absolutely wild. But I bet there's a better chance my 3 series would've kept* running until 2060 than my X4. The electronics will be the early death of this thing. Once I get a bigger garage, I'm buying some mid-2000s 6 speed. (*the 3 series drowned in Helene.)
