After writing a bunch of PowerShell scripts, I finally taught Copilot how to modify, compile, and run vcxproj. I can see how my documentation changes the code and sync those changes back to the documentation. Then I switch to VSCode to run AI to modify C++ files, and I only open VS when I need to debug. It feels much better this way. Same Copilot, but VS manages to make the integration so poor, I’m really impressed 🤪
