Polygon’s gigagas roadmap continues! 🚢 First milestones for Polygon PoS: 1,000 TPS + ~5 second transaction finality This will be achieved with two upgrades on Polygon PoS, Bhilai hardfork (for TPS) + Heimdall v.2 upgrade (for finality) • Bhilai is live on Amoy testnet already! (targetting mainnet July 1) • Heimdall v.2 is live on Amoy testnet TODAY!! (targeting mainnet July 10) Heimdall modernizes core infra on PoS for faster sync & better external data handling Polygon PoS is getting leaner, faster, and more efficient with each upgrade. Scaling transactions without compromising security. 1000 TPS x ~5s finality… then… 5000 TPS x ~1s finality in October 👀 Couldn’t be more proud of the work from the Polygon engineers.
