This is Captain Behnam Zarei who was called to a post office in February 2024 as a woman had complained of another woman not wearing hijab. He protected her. He gave his name while being filmed. Now he’s dead. Friends say he’d been severely harassed by the regime after this incident. His death supposedly of “cardiac arrest” is now seen as highly suspicious.
